Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and efficient HR and Admin Manager to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the efficient administration of the company, and providing direct support to the CEO.
  • Additionally, this role involves assisting with grant applications and ensuring effective time management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Oversee employee performance management and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Handle employee relations, addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Maintain HR records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Provide direct administrative support to the CEO, including managing the calendar, scheduling meetings, and handling communications.
  • Identify and research potential grant opportunities that align with the company’s goals.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Create an inclusive and productive work environment while ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations.
  • Management of Payroll.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s Degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • At least 3 years experience as an HR Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws.

  • Experience in office administration and executive support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace .
  • Experience with grant writing and applications is preferred.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Candidates must have a functioning laptop.

Remuneration

  • Base: N190,000 Monthly.
  • Performance Bonus: N80,000 (successful grant application).
