Our client is a Digital Marketing Agency based in Atlanta, GA, and Charlotte, NC. They’re looking to hire a Social Media Specialist.

The Social Media Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in overseeing our clients’ social media platforms, campaigns, and blogs. This individual should possess a profound proficiency in the Adobe Suite or comparable design platform, an expansive understanding of social media trends and analytics, and the ability to generate engaging platform-specific content.

Core Areas of Responsibility (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Strategically manage and grow client social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Craft and schedule compelling content on a 30-day rolling calendar that aligns with brand voice and audience preferences, driving engagement and follower growth.
  • Employ data analytics tools to track campaign performance and adjust strategies based on insights.
  • Collaborate with content creators to produce visually appealing and share-worthy content for various social media platforms.
  • Stay updated with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure maximum visibility and engagement for our content.

Professional Competencies:

  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, or the ability to edit within Figma
  • Exceptional and professional client serviceability
  • Adept at using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics) to monitor and optimize campaign performance.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to content marketing and social media.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create engaging and grammatically correct content.
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application across social media platforms.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communication, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success in managing social media channels and campaigns with a portfolio of work.
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on creativity, deadlines, and team collaboration.
