Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Research potential vendors
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Review the quality of purchased products
  • Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, and prices) into internal databases
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Coordinate with store officer on site to ensure proper storage

Requirements

  • BSc in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a Procurement Officer with a minimum of 2 years in the construction industry

Skills:

  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office especially MS Excel skills
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
  • Good negotiation skills

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 per month.
