Qachy Food Bank Foundation (QFBF) is a not-for-profit food bank that is headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria. With a special focus in Northern Nigeria, our goal is to alleviate hunger and provide nourishment to indigent, struggling and underprivileged demographics all over Nigeria. At the core of our functionality are SDGs 2 (Zero Hunger), 3 (Good Health and well-being, 6 (Clean water and sanitation) and 12.1 (Zero Food Waste).
Our vision is a Nigeria where no individual goes to bed hungry. We envision vibrant communities across Northern Nigeria and beyond, where access to nutritious food is a fundamental right for everyone.To achieve this, wesolicit, collect, grow, and packagefood for distribution through a network of mini agencies and programs, as well as provide opportunities for healthy living and self sufficiency.

Job Title: Corporate Fundraiser

Role Overview
- As a Corporate Fundraiser Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in securing financial support from both corporate partners and individual donors.
- You will utilize your marketing skills and local knowledge to engage potential donors, cultivate relationships, and solicit donations on behalf of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential corporate partners, individual donors, and community groups across Nigeria.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage donors and secure financial support.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors through effective communication and stewardship.
- Utilize various channels, including street outreach and community events, to connect with potential donors and raise awareness about our mission.
- Provide regular updates and reports on fundraising activities and outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong marketing skills and experience in fundraising or sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the local community and cultural landscape, particularly in Abuja, Nigeria.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for the mission and values of Qachy Food Bank Foundation.
