Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our organization.
- This position requires a strong understanding of financial principles, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of the company’s budget, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support decision-making.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare and file tax returns.
- Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting audit processes.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Expense Management: Review and process expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll activities, including calculating employee salaries, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Financial Compliance: Stay up to date with financial regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance is a plus.
Requirements for the Role:
