Job Title: UI/UX Designer
Location: Fully Remote (Work From Home)
Salary Range: $90,000 – $130,000

About the Role
We are on the lookout for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our enthusiastic team of researchers and engineers. This is a full-time remote role, with occasional in-person meetings. As a key member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with the founding members to enhance our design, improve user experience, and drive conversions. Your role will be vital in shaping our product to make accurate healthcare information more accessible and affordable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and enhance user journeys using Figma.
- Work alongside the founder (Lilou Artz) to gather requirements and implement design solutions.
- Conduct user research, including concept and usability testing.
- Develop and maintain product component libraries and technical guidelines.
- Provide design support for marketing initiatives (e.g., Supplement Facts Guide).
Immediate Projects
- Pillser Health Card: Develop personalized recommendations based on user profiles (Learn more).
- Supplement Diary: Design a feature for logging and tracking supplement intake and health goals (upcoming product).
- Pillser Stack Exchange: Create a platform for user-shared supplement stacks with a reward system (upcoming product).
Requirements
Must-Have:
- 2-3 years of UI/UX design experience.
- Proven experience in designing e-commerce websites.
- Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping.
- Strong knowledge of design systems.
- Experience collaborating with React developers.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with healthcare or nutrition-related projects.
- Familiarity with AI and its ethical implications in healthcare.
- Basic front-end development knowledge.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 (based on experience).
- Equity: 1% – 2% (4-year vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff).
