Job Objective
- Performs commercial and contractual analysis, schedule evaluation of bids and incorporate technical evaluation from engineering.
- Finalize the bid summary and make recommendations to the Stakeholders for technical and commercial acceptable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develops the bid and tender strategy/procedure.
- Prepare works scheduled/distribution matrix to support the preparation of tenders.
- Understand document management for NIPEX, NCDMB, NAPIMS, DPR and other statutory documentation.
- Maintain a list of qualified vendors, Partners especially as related to planned tenders and monitoring deadlines.
- Assists in preparation and/or review of Tender Documentation Packages comprising of Instructions to Bidders, Contract Form, General Terms Conditions, Bid Forms, etc.
- Assemble and maintain internal Procurement documentation relating to the tendering process, including recording management approval relating to tendering and contracting actions.
- Prepares Tenders status reports, contract award report, status of existing contract and expected timelines on a regular basis and when requested.
- Carryout administrative work of announcing bids including the preparation of advertisement, preparation of related documents, preparation of comparisons for evaluation and all works related to awarding bids.
- Compare suppliers’ bills with bids and purchase orders in order to verify accuracy.
- Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary.
- Attend pre-bid meetings scheduled by clients and provide appropriate reports.
- Responsible for effective implementation of quality management system in line with tender requirement
- Preparation for technical and un-priced commercial bids/proposals.
- Update departmental database, backups and achieving.
- Ensure proper update and validity of company information/profile.
- Any other duty that maybe assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Five years’ experience in Tendering
- Experience in oil and gas industry
- NCDC Reporting.

- Ability to multi tasks and communicate effectively
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Presentation skills.
- Should be familiar with Microsoft Office package.
- Should be able to work with little or no supervision and as a flexible team player.
- Should be able to priorities tasks and manage one’s own time effectively.
- Discretion and need for confidentiality.
Remuneration
N250,00 – N400,000 / Month.
