Job Description

  • A good sales representative must have excellent verbal communication skills that enable them to connect with consumers and persuade them to purchase company products or services.
  • They have a personable nature and genuinely care about their clients. This combination ensures clients continue to feel valued by a business and want to renew their contracts.
  • Further, a good sales representative understands the importance of learning about company products or services to better describe their benefits to callers.
  • They demonstrate this by purchasing company products or services and telling callers about how they use them in their daily lives.
  • A good sales representative also understands when to ease up on their sales tactics if a caller doesn’t seem as perceptive to a particular product or idea.

Responsibilities

  • Be knowledgeable about the product.
  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation, and conversion.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs.
  • Emphasise the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
  • Answer questions about the products.
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors.
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and promotional trends.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Prioritising, time management, and organisational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Must reside in Lekki.

Salary Range
N100,000 – N150,000 / month.
