Job Title: Project Manager (Telecoms)

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of telecom fibre projects, from planning to implementation and completion.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues or risks that arise.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project updates and milestones to senior management and clients as required.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5years of experience managing telecom fibre projects.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in the telecom industry.
  • Strong understanding of telecom network infrastructure and fibre optic technology.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, and budgeting.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
