Job Title: Marketer – Sales (Diesel Power Generators)

Job Overview
- The Marketer – Sales will be responsible for the marketing and sales of our well-known diesel generators.
- This role requires a candidate with substantial experience in the marketing and sales of diesel generators, particularly those from brands such as Kirloskar, Perkins, Cummins, Caterpillar, and FG Wilson.
Responsibilities
Sales Revenue Targets:
- Meet sales revenue targets and expand the dealer base across assigned regions and customer segments.
Sales Pipeline Management:
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities.
Partner Relationships:
- Develop positive working relationships with partners to build business.
- Work with channel partners to help them exceed revenue expectations on a month-to-month basis.
Partner Engagement:
- Conduct regular partner visits and keep them engaged with promotional and branding offers.
Market Awareness:
- Stay current with the latest developments in the marketplace and competitor activities.
Performance Evaluation:
- Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.
Issue Resolution:
- Address partner-related issues, sales conflicts, and pricing issues in a timely manner, in consultation with the Sales Head.
Marketing Activities:
- Plan and execute partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns, and other promotional activities.
Client Engagement:
- Travel to meet with potential and existing clients in the assigned sales territory.
Reporting:
- Submit daily market visit reports and competition intelligence.
Skills & Experience Required
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience handling sales in Diesel Power Generators.
Channel & Account Management:
- Experience in both channel management and account management.
Geographical Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of the geographical area.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Personal Attributes:
- Self-driven, decisive, and persistent.
Customer Orientation:
- Strong customer orientation with excellent negotiation skills.
Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 monthly.
