Job Description

  • The role holder reports to the Managing Director, and direct reports the Asset Creation Division.
  • He or she is responsible for the entire credit generating and asset creation management process and the application of the Credit Policy Manual and the monitoring of approved and disbursed facilities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Management or any related discipline.
  • A postgraduate is required.
  • A Professional Certificate(s) is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience and excellent understanding of the job and industry.
  • Good track record of performance.
  • Goal oriented and pays attention to details.
  • Excellent Analytical skills.
  • Possess the capacity to deliver on target.

Requirements:

  • Engage in the company’s mission and vision by maintaining the departmental structure sufficiency to meet the Company’s Credit goals and guide the members to achieve the set objectives.
  • Ensure effective marketing of company products of team members and creation of good bankable assets to achieve company’s objective and department budget.
  • Ensure team members comply with the credit policy manual.
  • Effectively monitors the created risks asset and ensures the prompt meeting of the management credit committee weekly.
  • Properly document minutes of management of credit committee’s meeting.
  • Coordinate the development of employee welfare of the department in respect to training, effective job distribution, annual leave, appraisals etc.
  • Ensure weekly meeting of the department staff on planning, discussion of new credits and review of existing risk.
  • Ensure effective monitoring of loan classifications.
  • Coordinate proper monthly calculation and review of certain rations against benchmark.
  • Ensure department is fully involved in recovery of delinquent accounts.
  • Manage relationship with Credit Reporting Agencies and ensure adequate reports are submitted to Credit Bureaus.
  • Ensure all annual regulatory standard of Board of Credit Committee meetings are met.
  • Ensure the weekly review of Credit and Administration memo by marketers.
  • Ensure timely sign off on all approved credits before disbursement on all restructured loans.
  • Effectively monitors all pending obligations and contact the concerned clients.
  • Assist the Managing Director in the day to day activities of the company.

Salary
N6,000,000 – N9,000,000 annually
