Job Description
- The successful candidate will utilize AutoCAD software to develop precise shop drawings for electrical systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- This role involves close collaboration with MEP teams and site personnel to produce detailed and comprehensive drawings.
Responsibilities
- Create shop drawings using AutoCAD for electrical systems, including lighting, power, and ELV systems.
- Work with MEP teams to produce composite drawings, integrating details and sections seamlessly.
- Engage with site teams to ensure drawings are accurate and align with project requirements.
- Perform site visits to gather necessary information and enhance understanding of project specifics.
- Continuously review and update drawings based on feedback, design changes, or project modifications.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors to clarify design goals, resolve technical issues, and incorporate feedback effectively.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor’s Degrees in Building Engineering Technology or a related field
- 4 – 5 years relevant work experience of drafting experience, proficient in AutoCAD 2D, 3D, Revit BIM, and Dynamo
- Experience in electrical and mechanical designs in buildings.
- Strong technical drawing and blueprint reading abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with teams and clients
- Strong organizational abilities, crucial for managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines
- In-depth understanding of construction processes and familiarity with relevant legal issues in the construction industry.
- Effective presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently present ideas in front of clients, teams, and stakeholders.
Salary
N250,000 Monthly.
