We’re looking for a Creative Operations Associate to join our close-knit quickly growing team. Reporting to the Associate Director of Brand and sitting within the Creative and Brand Marketing department, the Creative Operations Associate will be a true cross-functional collaborator responsible for the workflow and day to day operations of the Creative team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring Creative and Editorial team deliverables are met within scope, while maintaining marketing and cross-functional objectives and timelines, all with an understanding of project and task nuances. This person will have direct exposure to the Creative team’s output across brand touchpoints on a day-to-day basis across digital and retail channels, in addition to assisting with major campaigns and other high impact projects as identified.
Responsibilities
- Oversee brief intake and assignment process for Creative from cross-functional teams, working closely with partners to define project objectives, key deliverables, timelines, and required approvals and reporting.
- Support in the development of project plans and ensure the scope and approach is fully understood by all partners.
- Support project kickoffs, creative reviews, work sessions and other critical project-related recurring meetings as needed.
- Ensure clear and frequent communication, acting as point person throughout the creative task life cycle through status updates, document sharing, meeting recaps, progress documentation, etc.
- Identify and solve potential roadblocks by proactively communicating risks to key stakeholders to ensure work is delivered on time and recommend additional resources to complete the work when needed.
- Support the day-to-day adaptation of team priorities in response to customer and business partner needs.
- Facilitate regular retrospectives and Creative Operations reporting to ensure continuous improvement for Creative team throughput and efficiency.
- Support the development and refinement of new and existing processes and infrastructure to drive efficiency, improve workflows within the Creative team and cross-functionally, and ensure the seamless delivery of creative tasks.
- Support team workload capacity planning for business as usual and special project needs.
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of project management experience in creative operations.
- Demonstrated understanding of creative operations, including brief intakes, scoping, work sessions, creative reviews, etc.
- Experience in high-growth, e-commerce retail preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Asana and Figma preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and understanding of creative projects and workflows
- Analytical, problem-solving/quantitative skills with the ability to engage and drive collaboration and alignment.
- An enthusiasm for working collaboratively with others, and a proven ability to quickly respond to shifting project needs or issues and identify workflow gaps with a solution-oriented mind-set.
- Self-starter who is hyper organized, has great attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in an ever-changing environment.
- Comfortable with navigating through ambiguity and nimble against shifting priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or a related field preferred.
