Job Description

  • We are looking for a Commercial and Industrial Sales Engineer (Solar) to join our team in Lagos.
  • The ideal candidate must have an engineering educational background and possess strong technical and sales skills.
  • The role involves promoting and selling solar energy solutions to commercial and industrial clients.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar energy solutions in the commercial and industrial sectors.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of solar energy solutions.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical support and expertise to clients during the sales process.
    • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the suitability of solar energy solutions for client needs.
    • Develop detailed proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines.
  • Project Management:
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and management.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors in the solar energy sector.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives.
    • Provide feedback to management on market conditions, client needs, and product development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • Must have an engineering educational background (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
    • Proven sales experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 / Month.
