Job Description
- We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing Telecommunications team. This role will play a pivotal part in the design, development, and implementation of our telecommunications infrastructure.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering principles, with a specific expertise in 2D and 3D AutoCAD design.
Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D designs for telecoms infrastructure, including tower sites, conduit layouts, and fiber optic pathways.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine feasibility, identify potential challenges, and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, permitting, construction) to ensure project plans meet all technical requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including construction drawings, site plans, and as-built drawings.
- Analyze and interpret technical data, including maps, surveys, and engineering reports.
- Manage and oversee the work of contractors and vendors involved in civil engineering aspects of telecoms projects.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices for telecommunications infrastructure design and construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Civil Engineer, with a focus on telecommunications infrastructure a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD software, with proficiency in 2D and 3D design capabilities.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis, foundation design, and surveying techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 / month.
