We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Locations: Lekki, Festac, Ikotun – Lagos and Port Harcourt – Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
- Daily collection and safekeeping of group revenue.
- Responsible for depositing of cash sales into the bank.
- Monitor and maintain files on all account payable and receivable.
- Check, prepare invoices, receipts and delivery notes for all jobs and prepare updates on all accounts.
- Ensure all outstanding debts are correctly calculated and duly collected from customers.
- Reconcile all bank accounts, cashbooks and resolves all issues in processes.
- Prepare all financial data and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly.
- Preparing wages/payroll and processing expense claims.
- Updating of debtors/creditors accounts/list.
- Bank liaison activities.
- Be responsible for developing own skills and knowledge and contribute to the development of others.
- Researches, evaluates, learn and practice new trends in the industry.
- To be aware and abide by all rules and regulations of Outreach.
- Manage the company bank accounts.
- Receive, monitor and account for payables and receivables.
- Consolidate annual accounting statements.
- Forecast cash flow.
- Prepare tax returns.
- Assist auditors.
- Prepare and reconcile all financial statements.
- Manage supplier rebates.
- Any other duty that may be assigned.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Master’s Degree / BSc in relevant fields with 3 – 8 years work experience.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
