Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- The candidate should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management
- Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential problems
- Prepare and submit tax returns, including VAT and other government filings
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes
- Provide support to the finance team in various ad-hoc tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Salary
N300,000 / month.
