Job Purpose

  • This position will oversee real estate agency and facility management transactions between buyers, sellers or both, between landowners and developers or landowners and clients, and between developers or property owners and interested users or residents.
  • The scope includes drafting sales or leasing contracts for buyers and sellers, negotiating sales or leasing prices between buyers, clients and sellers, and leading a team of Real Estate Sales Agents and facility management business developers to close deals.

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the real estate agency and facility management landscape, can fully delimitate between operations in a real estate agency and operations in a real estate development company, has extensive experience working with a real estate agency, has a strong sense of urgency but not at the expense of quality, is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing.
  • An excellent leader within the organization, able to build a cohesive sales team with specialties is buying, selling, leasing and showing properties. In addition, he/she demonstrates on a daily basis the management ability, knowledge, attitudes, skills, and habits of a high-achieving brokerage agent who is committed to putting clients first, doing the right thing, and to seeking win-win agreements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues for both ALLIANZ Management and PRODIGI Africa.
  • Assist sellers in how to best promote their properties to attract advantageous offers.
  • Advertise properties through a variety of marketing techniques.
  • Evaluate the clients’ desires and economic capabilities to discover the appropriate suggestions.
  • Manage a sales and business development team and provide leadership, training and coaching.
  • Offer services to the public to buy, sell, rent, or lease properties.
  • Broker real estate deals between landowners and developers or landowners and clients.
  • Broker real estate transactions by representing the buyers, sellers, or both and mediating between all parties involved to ensure good conduct and honest exchange of information towards a beneficial understanding.
  • Offer real estate advisory services to clients where required.
  • Set individual sales targets with the sales team and communicate same to them with the support of the HR Manager.
  • Work on sales scripts with real estate agents and other real estate sales and business development executives.
  • Track, collate and interpret sales figures for reporting.
  • Ensure members of the sales and business development team have the necessary resources and documents to perform properly.
  • Plan and direct sales team trainings.
  • Draft and complete important legal documents (contracts, agreements etc.) with support from the legal department.
  • Generate and manage lists of properties for sale.
  • Collaborate and network with all external stakeholders.
  • Verify the accuracy of paperwork completed by all stakeholders connected to every deal per time.
  • Any other tasks as may be required by the business or as assigned by the COO and MD.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts.
  • At least 7 years experience as real estate sales manager, 5 of which should be in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of closed deals.
  • Knowledgeable about the property management and sales market and best practices.

Salary

  • N450,000 – N550,000 per month
