Job Title: Project Manager (Telecoms)
Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end management of telecom fibre projects, from planning to implementation and completion.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently to achieve project goals.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues or risks that arise.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate project updates and milestones to senior management and clients as required.
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5years of experience managing telecom fibre projects.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in the telecom industry.
- Strong understanding of telecom network infrastructure and fibre optic technology.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, and budgeting.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
