Job Summary

  • To provide Facilities Engineering support/services to the operations of the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contract bid evaluation and analysis.
  • Prepare monthly cash calls for facilities engineering.
  • Follow up on any facilities engineering issues with Joint Venture Partners.
  • Develop project plans including engineering design/procurement, fabrication, vendor mobilization, offshore construction, and commissioning
  • Manages the interface and communication processes between parties on all project activities
  • Assist the operational and technical teams in planning and implementation of projects in line with the approved budget.
  • Ensure that the facility’s work program is strictly followed and performed accordingly.
  • Generate necessary and relevant scope of work and documentation to back up budget work programs for Joint Venture Partners’ approval.
  • Responsible for defending facilities engineering budget and performance with Joint Venture Partners.
  • Follow up on all facilities engineering-related projects in the field and generate reports for all stakeholders.
  • Develop and grow any business relationships vital to the implementation of facilities work programs.
  • Participate in all facilities engineering activities in the field
  • To perform any other activities that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Manages project budgets/costs
  • Ensures all activities are in line with industry and company engineering standards
  • Make offshore and onshore site visits to check on progress
  • Report any breaches of safety procedures to supervision/management
  • Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies, and procedures, and ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.
  • Continuously review, manage, monitor, and control all facilities’ construction plans and their implementation/execution to ensure a consistent and cost-effective approach to the construction activities

Educational Qualifications & Other Requirements

  • University Degree in any engineering discipline
  • 5 years in the upstream oil and gas industry
  • Knowledge of construction of flowlines, pipelines, storage tanks, drilling location preparation, and other facilities’ engineering works.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have a proven track record of field experience in facilities engineering.
  • Good contracting and contract management skills.
  • Ability to use initiatives and good methodological approach to work processes.
  • Must demonstrate a good knowledge of project management and contract administration, flowlines and pipelines construction, facilities maintenance, and drilling location site preparation.
  • Knowledge of construction of flowlines, pipelines, storage tanks, drilling location preparation, and other facilities engineering works.
  • Competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Programmes.
  • Proficiency in Project administration and management.

Salary
N1,200,000 – N1,5000,000 monthly net.
