Job Description
- Lead and oversee the design team in developing innovative and creative architectural designs.
- Work independently and manage multiple design projects from conception to completion.
- Utilize 3D design software to create detailed and accurate design plans.
- Develop creative architectural designs for renovation projects.
- Design furniture and ensure it aligns with client specifications and project needs.
- Plan and design interior retail and office spaces, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all design projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new ideas and technologies into design projects.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and designers within the team.
- Have a good understanding of materials for building and furniture design.
- Understand material specifications and creatively use materials to design and execute furniture for retail and office spaces.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Architect or similar role.
- Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative architectural designs, particularly in renovation projects.
- Expertise in furniture design and interior space planning for retail and office environments.
- Good understanding of materials for building and furniture design, including material specifications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to think creatively.
Salary
N330,000 – N350,000 / month.
