Job Description
- We are looking for a Commercial and Industrial Sales Engineer (Solar) to join our team in Lagos.
- The ideal candidate must have an engineering educational background and possess strong technical and sales skills.
- The role involves promoting and selling solar energy solutions to commercial and industrial clients.
Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar energy solutions in the commercial and industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of solar energy solutions.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support and expertise to clients during the sales process.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the suitability of solar energy solutions for client needs.
- Develop detailed proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines.
- Project Management:
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors in the solar energy sector.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives.
- Provide feedback to management on market conditions, client needs, and product development opportunities.
Requirements
- Education:
- Must have an engineering educational background (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 / Month.
