Job Description
- We are seeking to employ an experienced and passionate Career Advisor to join our team as a part-time consultant.
- In this role, you will provide personalized career guidance and support to professionals at various stages of their careers, helping them navigate challenges, set goals, and achieve success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one career coaching sessions with individuals seeking guidance on career planning, job search strategies, resume writing, interview preparation, and professional development.
- Utilize the platform to communicate with clients, schedule appointments, and track progress.
- Assess clients’ skills, interests, and goals to provide tailored advice and recommendations for career advancement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, job market insights, and best practices in career development to provide relevant and timely guidance to clients.
- Collaborate with other Career Advisors and talent solutions team members to ensure a seamless and positive client experience.
- Schedule and conduct face-to-face or virtual mock interviews, and contact unplaced clients.
- identify career-related materials/resources specific to assigned clients and assist with the creation of career resource materials (print/online).
- Review new career development resources and make recommendations for the team and clients
What You Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in career counseling, coaching, or advising, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong listening and problem-solving abilities, with a client-centered approach to coaching.
- Familiarity with career assessment tools, job search techniques, and career development resources.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
- Certification in career counseling or coaching is a big plus.
