Job Description
- As an HR Operations Officer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes and procedures while also serving as a strategic partner to the business.
- You will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, maintaining compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment for employees.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations Management:
- Manage end-to-end HR operations including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, performance management, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
Talent Acquisition:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to fill vacant positions.
- Coordinate the selection process, including conducting background checks and making job offers.
Training and Development:
- Assess training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other learning initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Employee Engagement and Relations:
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
HR Business Partnering:
- Act as a strategic partner to department heads and managers, providing HR guidance and support to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management / Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) or CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) is required.
- 3+ years of experience in HR operations or related roles, preferably in the spa, beauty, or fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office Suite.
Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 monthly
