Job Summary

  • An AGM Sales manages and oversees the sales operations in an organization.
  • Your main duties will include designing plans to meet sales targets, developing and cultivating relationships with clients and evaluating costs to determine their products’ pricing when selling to customers.
  • A Sales Team Lead or Head are responsible for establishing and directing the sales activities of an organization.
  • Must spearhead activities that affect the direction and goals of business especially for a startup company and must also have a bacground from hotel, hospitality and tourism sector.
  • He/She must have working experience and knowledge of managing big corporate clients, group bookings, leisure business, travels and tours, government departments and agencies.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Assign sales territory, target groups and sales quotas
  • Coordinate sales activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit plans, budgets, progress reports and annual sales reports
  • Manage human resource functions e.g. hiring, training, performance reviews
  • Research competitors’ products/services
  • Develop goals and objectives, projects and priorities and assign them to Sales Managers
  • Develop and conduct sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional plans
  • May perform duties of Sales Managers as well
  • The sales and marketing Team Lead is also responsible forleading their team of professionals who are involved in the sales and marketing activities of the company.
  • They track market developments, create strategies, set up sales plans, and maintain customer relations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Accomplishes marketing and sales staff objectives by recruiting, selecting, training, and coaching employees.
  • Communicates job expectations by planning, monitoring, and reviewing job contributions.
  • Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information.
  • Prepares and completes marketing action plan.
  • Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements and preparing annual budgets.
  • Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions.
  • Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertisements.
  • Identifies marketing opportunities by understanding consumer requirements.
  • Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
  • Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits.
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Degree with 5 – 10 years work experience.

Salary
N400,000 – N550,000 per month.
