Job Summary

  • The Plant Liaison Manager is responsible for coordinating the acquisition of mining licenses, procuring necessary equipment, maintaining records and inventory, providing detailed reports on daily plant activities to management, and overseeing technical repairs and operations within the plant. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Mining License Coordination:

  • Facilitate and manage the process of obtaining necessary mining licenses.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all licenses and permits.
  • Equipment Procurement: Identify and procure equipment necessary for plant operations. – Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. – Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Record Keeping and Inventory Management: – Maintain accurate records of equipment, materials, and inventory.
  • Implement inventory control systems to track and manage stock levels. – Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed daily reports on plant activities to management. – Analyze operational data and provide insights for decision-making. – Ensure timely communication of any issues or discrepancies.
  • Technical Coordination: Coordinate and oversee technical repairs and maintenance activities. – Collaborate with technical teams to ensure optimal plant performance. – Schedule and monitor maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Compliance and Safety: – Ensure all plant operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. – Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed

Requirements

  • B.Eng Civil Engeering
  • Experience in Project Management
  • People Management Skills
  • Should reside in Keffi

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 per month.
