Job Description

  • Reporting to the Directors; the Operations Manager is the senior operational P&L leader responsible for the overall success of the entire business. This role will directly oversee all rentals and the maintenance of rental & logistics equipment, transportation, and support personnel. The ideal candidate should be a problem solver, motivated, self-driven, and a capable leader of people. He/she should be a promoter of best practice and operational excellence and a willing adopter of technology.
  • This role requires daily collaboration with the sales & marketing and finance teams whilst being directly responsible for the:
    • Maintenance team,
    • Logistics team
    • Generator operators.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all business operations
  • Builds relationships with staff to maintain a high level of customer service and support in a positive team-oriented branch environment
  • Analyzes an uses operational information to create positive actions and results
  • Promotes an encouraging and safe workplace and adheres to company policy and procedure
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels (quality & quantity) within the business and provides continuous coaching, training, support, and performance feedback.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of market trends and conditions

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Operations /Facilities Manager in a similar role
  • A track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Extensive knowledge of generator operations and maintenance routines
  • Strong work scheduling and logistics experience
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
  • Good understanding of business financials
  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

Salary
N150,000 per month.
