Job Title: Production Associate

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday – Saturday 9am-6pm

Job Description

  • As a skilled and experienced Production Associate to oversee all aspects of garment production and manufacturing operations at our fashion house.
  • As the Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the production process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality garments, and maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness throughout the production cycle. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and suppliers to meet production targets, uphold quality standards, and contribute to the overall success of our fashion brand.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of garment production, from sourcing materials to final product assembly, to meet production schedules and targets.
  • Collaborate with design, sourcing, and merchandising teams to translate design concepts into feasible production plans, considering factors such as fabric availability, production capacity, and cost efficiency.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing, quality materials, and timely delivery of components and raw materials required for production.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, workflows, and production processes to optimize efficiency, minimize lead times, and reduce production costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks or issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure production targets are met within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and implement quality control measures to maintain consistency and meet quality standards for finished garments.
  • Manage production budgets, track production costs, and analyze production data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and efficiency enhancements.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, labor standards, and industry best practices in all production activities and operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in production management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and production software/tools.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 per month.
