Job Title: IT Project Manager

Job Summary
- We are looking to hire a responsible IT Project manager, who will be planning and overseeing projects from the initial ideation to completion.
- Prepare daily and weekly reporting templates, coordinate team to deliver projects on time within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress use appropriate verification techniquesto manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Lead the development of detailed work plans for each component of the intervention, working closely with the Principal Advisor, Technical Coordinator, project staff, and partners.
- Throughout all phases of project intervention, work closely with partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective lines of communication and collaboration.
- Liaise with the operations department to ensure timely procurement and distribution of services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the technical team.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual reports, in a timely manner.
- Monitor and regularly report on project spend.
- Be responsible for knowledge management of the project working closely with the project team to ensure the documentation of project activities and ensure implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities, whileensuring key learnings are archived and available for easy access and use for decision making.
- Liaise with the External team and communications, advocacy strategy, research uptake publications plan for the project.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to adapt and contextualize processes, tools and materials for each project component (planning; procurement and supply management; training; response preparedness and implementation, supervision, monitoring & evaluation)
- Coordinate staff resource allocation and management for project implementation at various levels.
- Lead quality assurance implementation of key activities, including planning meetings, training and supervision.
- Liaise with the project team/partners to ensure quality of delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
- Professional qualification in Project Management (PMP, Prince2) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of proven work experience as an IT Project Manager
- Proven working experience as a project Manager in the IT sector.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid technical background, with understanding of project management methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
Salary
N400,000 – N500,000 Monthly.
