Job Summary
- As the Head Investor Relations within Advancly, you will manage and expand the institution’s investor base.
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing investors while actively seeking new investment opportunities.
- Your primary objective will be to facilitate the growth and development of the institution by effectively managing investor relations strategies and activities.
Responsibilities
Investor Acquisition & Retention:
- Pursue new investment opportunities by actively engaging potential investors,attending conferences, and networking within the industry.
- Collaborate with the Brands Marketing and Communications team to developeffective strategies to attract new investors and retain existing ones.
- Prepare investment proposals, pitch decks, and presentations tailored to the needsand preferences of specific investor segments.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify investor preferences, markettrends, and potential areas of growth.
Investor Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing investors, includinginstitutional investors, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, addressing their inquiries,providing regular updates, and fostering open communication channels.
- Understand investor needs, expectations, and risk appetite, ensuring theirinvestment objectives align with the institution’s strategies.
- Develop a deep understanding of the institution’s products, services, andinvestment opportunities to effectively engage with investors.
Investor Communications:
- Develop and execute an effective investor relations communication strategy,including regular newsletters, investor presentations, and annual reports.
- Coordinate and lead investor meetings, conference calls, and presentations toconvey the institution’s financial performance, investment strategies, and growthprospects.
- Prepare and distribute timely and accurate financial reports, earnings releases, andother relevant information to investors, complying with regulatory requirements andindustry standards.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to providevaluable insights and updates to investors.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including disclosure obligations,reporting standards, and investor protection regulations.
- Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory changes affecting the creditinstitution’s investor relations activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date investor records, including contact information,investment preferences, and transaction history.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal and compliance teams, toensure adherence to internal policies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.
- Proven experience in private wealth, investor relations, business development, or related roles within the financial industry, preferably in a credit institution.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and credit institution operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, market trends, and investor preferences.
- Proficient in preparing investor communications, presentations, and financial reports.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and disclosure obligations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Investor Relations Charter (IRC) are desirable
Salary
N400,000 Monthly.
